Shipping

At Tackle Addict we strive to provide our customers with fast and affordable shipping. All orders (excluding international) placed before 1:00 pm Central Standard Time will be processed and shipped the same day.  All orders over $75 will receive FREE standard shipping (EXCLUDING RODS/OVERSIZED ITEMS).  

Please remember we don't work for UPS or USPS therefore have no control over a package once it leaves our store. If your package is delayed in transit or has any issues during transit, please reach out to UPS or USPS first before contacting us. We see the same tracking information as you.

Please direct any anger or frustration toward the shipping carrier responsible for delivery delays—not toward the small business that fulfilled your order promptly, carefully, and as promised. We take pride in pulling and securely packaging every order in a timely manner, and we appreciate your understanding and kindness toward our team.


We ship everything insured with a tracking number. So, if or when there is an issue, we will be able to file any claims necessary to make sure you don't lose any money due to the shipping carrier's negligence.  

 

We prefer to use UPS and, in our experience, have less delays than others but have also increased their shipping rates.  USPS will take twice as long and one out of every 15 packages we ship will sit at a shipping/sorting port for an additional couple of days before being "found" again and back in route to its destination. Although, USPS is cheaper and with increasing prices we all try to save money any chance we get please don't select this method if you need your order in a certain time frame. You can also put write us a note during checkout if you need your item by a certain day and we will help you in choosing the correct provider.

Please keep in mind orders placed during our business hours are pulled and packaged within 30 minutes of the order being submitted.  If there is anything you need changed or altered, please CALL OR TEXT US immediately.  

 

USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE SHIPPING

This option is available since its usually more affordable for our customers with a "No Rush" preference.  In our experience it is NOT recommended due to the transit time.  USPS claims it should only take 2 to 5 days but 75% of the time you will not receive your package in that suggested time frame.  

UPS SHIPPING

Please note that UPS doesn’t deliver to P.O. boxes or APO’s. Our store is located in East Texas (the yellow area) the closer you are to us the faster your package will arrive.

Due to dimensions and weight limitations, orders with large dimensions or an extraordinary amount of weight will be charged a $20 flat rate shipping fee. This is due to the rise in shipping cost. We can no longer offer free shipping on large item like rods or nets due to this! It used to cost us $25 to ship a rod, now it cost $60. International shipping:  Please be aware that duties are collected at check out and are an estimate only and may change. We are more than happy to give you an estimate prior to check out or cancel your order if these fees exceed your expectations.
